    CBDriver.com Launches New Features For Companies Recruiting Independent Contractor Drivers

    CBDriver.com launches new enhanced features for companies that recruit independent contractor drivers for their business.

    CBDriver.com is a website dedicated to courier and messenger drivers and has hundreds of driving opportunity listings posted by companies needing drivers for delivery work. The majority of CBDriver’s 23,000+ registered driver members are independent owner operator drivers with their own vehicle.

    Drivers register for free with CBDriver and create an online driver profile and then search the site to find Driver Wanted ads posted by companies throughout the U.S. and Canada. Drivers can also advertise their driving business for free on the site by posting Driver Available ads. Independent owner operator drivers represent 95% of CBDriver’s membership base.

    Driver recruiters use CBDriver to post Driver Wanted ads because it provides a custom dedicated platform for recruiters who specifically need courier drivers with their own delivery vehicle. The majority of drivers registered in its system have a car, minivan, SUV, cargo van, pickup truck, or up to a 24 foot straight truck that holds 10,000 pounds; standard courier industry vehicles.

    Recruiters can also find drivers using the DriverSearch feature which lets them search any city and find local drivers who are advertising their driving business with Driver Available ads. Recruiters can review driver profiles and contact qualified candidates directly using DriverSearch.

    CBDriver’s driver members register for free and create an online profile that includes their contact information, vehicle info, driving record statement, and experience. Once registered with CBDriver, drivers are automatically enrolled in its alert system, which sends them instant email alerts when new Driver Wanted ads are posted in their area. “Our alert system was designed specifically for drivers who are working on the road day and night and aren’t able to check a computer regularly to see if there are new driving opportunities they might be interested in," explained Chris Kane, CEO.

    If a new driving opportunity is posted within 40 miles of where they live, the driver with a smart phone will get an email alert in 5 minutes. This alert system is a big benefit to driver recruiters because when they post a new driver wanted ad, an alert is sent out immediately to local drivers in CBDriver’s system, accelerating the visibility of their ads. “CBDriver currently sends out over 60,000 email alerts to drivers every month and we expect that figure will double by the end of the year," said June Hayford, COO.

    CBDriver has also recently launched a mobile phone version of its site so when a driver receives a new ad posting alert, he/she can quickly log into their account using their smart phone and use the one-click response feature. As the driver responds to ads, their driver profile information is automatically sent to the recruiter’s account. “Drivers don’t have time to fill out ad questionnaires with their personal data over and over," said June Hayford, COO. CBDriver stores their driver profile and gives drivers the ability to respond to a new driver wanted ad directly from a smart phone in 5 minutes. “We recognized this was an essential feature we needed to build to help our driver members who are looking for more work but driving much of the time," added June Hayford.

    Courier companies, food delivery businesses, florists, newspaper distribution firms, and other companies with deliveries can use CBDriver when they need to recruit drivers for contract delivery work.
