Celebrity Trainer Tracy Anderson 'Heartbroken' That Baby Weight Comments Were 'Taken So Far Out Of Context'

Tracy sat down with Access Hollywood to clarify her remarks, which she says were taken out of context.

"I was heartbroken. I was heartbroken really," Tracy told Access of her controversial quote, during an interview in New York City. "When I say don't use it as an excuse, I'm saying you're going to crave a lot, pizza, but be mindful of yes, you should listen to your body, but you should also listen to the knowledge of your doctor. It only helps the mother be healthy and the baby be healthy."

Tracy, who's trained Jennifer Lopez, Gwyneth Paltrow, Kate Hudson, Courteney Cox and more, is also a mother of two and said she learned by trial and error.

During her first pregnancy she gained 60 pounds. With her second child, she gained only 30 and lost it all just six weeks after giving birth.

As for a mother's cravings during pregnancy? Tracy said to listen to your body, but be careful.

"The first time around I was craving the edge pizza from Pizza Hut -- and I'd get it with everything on it, Dairy Queen oreo desserts [and] there was a custard place I was obsessed with too," she told Access. "Everything that was fatty and delicious I craved."

Adding, "I have seen so many women if they just had the tools, if they had the support -- even had the girlfriend support, they could have saved themselves from a harder journey back. It is a hard journey for every woman and it's a hard journey back for every woman."

    • Kanye West's Angry 'SNL' Rant Makes Saturday's Season Finale a Must-Watch

This coming weekend is a big one for Saturday Night Live. It marks the end of Bill Hader's tenure on the show and Ben Affleck's fifth time hosting. But perhaps the most significant reason to tune in is the fact that Kanye West is the musical guest, and he's making it seem like he really, really doesn't want to be. With West's apparent frustration with the show and his penchant for, shall we say ... off-the-cuff remarks, producers should be worried and we should be excited. Is there a better combo than that?
