Charlize Theron Talks Motherhood: 'It's Amazing'

Charlize Theron is loving her new role as a mother.

Access Hollywood caught up with the actress over the weekend at WonderCon, where she spoke about the joys of having new son Jackson - whom she adopted earlier this month - in her life.

"It's amazing," she told Access in Anaheim, Calif., on Saturday.

"It's been great, yes. It's been really great," she said, while on hand to promote her upcoming alien sci-fi epic "Prometheus."

In related Charlize news, the actress spoke very candidly about "Prometheus" co-star Michael Fassbender over the weekend at the Human Rights Campaign gala in Los Angeles, referencing his full-frontal work in last year's "Shame," according to E!.

"I have to say that I was truly impressed that you chose to play it big. Most other actors would have gone small, trust me. No, I know because I've worked with them," she said of Fassbender, who presented her with the Ally for Equality Award.

"Your penis was a revelation," she continued as the audience laughed. "I'm available to work with it any time."

Charlize will next be seen on the big screen in "Snow White and the Huntsman," where she plays Queen Ravenna. The fairytale movie, co-starring Kristen Stewart and Chris Hemsworth, opens on June 1.
