Check Out the Trailers for Jack Black and The Rock's New HBO Shows, The Brink and Ballers (VIDEO)

Come this summer, HBO's Sunday–night lineup is poised to read like a who's who of the early aughts. Following Rachel Adams and Colin Farrell's True Detective debut in the crime drama's Season 2 premiere (watch the first teaser here!), the network will air two new comedies starring Jack Black and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson.

Ballers, which premieres Sunday, June 21 at 10pm, stars Johnson as Spencer Strasmore, a former NFL star who's spending his retirement mentoring other players and reinventing himself as a financial manager. Rob Corrdry, Omar Benson Miller, John David Washington, Donovan Carter, Troy Garity, Jazmyn Simon, and Arielle Kebble also star.

Immediately following Ballers at 10:30pm comes the premiere of dark comedy The Brink, which focuses on a geopolitical crisis through the eyes of three "disparate, desperate" men who must "pull through the chaos around them to save the planet from World War III. Black plays crass foreign service officer Alex Talbot, Tim Robbins plays the kinky U.S. Secretary of State Walter Larson, Pablo Schreiber plays ace Navy fighter pilot Zeke Tilson. Aasif Mandvi, Maribeth Monroe, Eric Ladin, Esai Morales, and Geoff Pierson star.

What do you think? Do either of these two shows look good to you?
