Cheryl Fernandez-Versini has made her Instagram profile private prompting Team Celeb to seriously revise their procrastination options.

We love nothing more than a browse over Chezza’s latest uploads – in fact, that’s basically how we spend most of our lunch breaks – so we are suitably gutted with her updated privacy settings.

It’s believed that Cheryl’s decision is an extreme attempt to rid her life of ‘negativity’ following the recent criticism she received after she lost weight following the passing of her father-in-law.

After changing the privacy of her account - which can currently be viewed by 1.7 million people– the X Factor judge also changed her bio to explain her decision.

“If you’re a negative person swerve you have no place on my page,” she wrote. “Don’t waste your time. Good vibes only.”

We suppose that’s one way to deal with trolls – by locking them out.

The negative attention she previously received for her weight-loss led her to suggest ‘body-shaming’ to be made illegal.

“I can take whatever the press throw at me after 13 years, what worries me is what it’s doing to the younger generation,” the 32-year-old told ES Magazine.

However, since then, Cheryl has been accused of ‘body shaming’ overweight people herself with comments that didn’t exactly go down well with the public.

“You’d never be allowed to say to somebody, 'Oh, you look a bit fat’,” she said to InStyle. “And being overweight is unhealthy - it’s actually a bad message to tell someone who is obese that they look 'curvy’ or 'great’.”

Yikes.

Maybe it’s about time Cheryl veered away from all this controversy started talking about something else – Simon Cowell’s new beard maybe? Just to be on the safe side and that.
