Cheryl Fernandez-Versini’s Marriage To Jean-Bernard Is Over
After months of speculation it has been reported that Cheryl Fernandez-Versini is set to divorce her second husband, French hunk Jean-Bernard, because of his “unreasonable behaviour”.
According to an insider, the 32-year-old is fed up of Jean-Bernard’s jealousy, claiming: “Cheryl is divorcing JB on the grounds of his unreasonable behaviour. She has had enough of his jealousy.
"He didn’t like it when she had to spend time with other men and even became jealous when she was hanging out with her dogs.
"Cheryl seems to want this over and done with as quickly as possible but it could be held up if she does have any talks with JB over a financial settlement.”
Cheryl hit the headlines when she tied the knot to Jean-Bernard in a secret ceremony back in July 2014, with this source revealing that The X Factor judge now believes that she rushed into marriage.
They added to The Sun: “In hindsight, it’s obvious Cheryl didn’t really know JB well enough to commit to him for the rest of her life.
"But she was so madly in love and caught up in the moment – after everything that happened with Ashley [Cole] she wanted to believe that love really does conquer all.”
The pair haven’t been spotted together since Ant and Dec’s birthday party in October and it is now believed that they split about five months ago.
Speaking to The Mirror, a source revealed: “They actually split up in August. They are still very good friends but are now getting a divorce.
"In the end Cheryl realised she had married too soon and had been swept away by a bit of a whirlwind romance. Over time it became clear to each of them that they were very different people and from very different worlds.
"They are now focusing on making sure they stay friends. The divorce is amicable and they have both said they will always be there for each other.
"By the time of Ant and Dec’s party they were just close friends who still enjoy spending time together. They were having a great time with their friends but there was nothing intimate by that stage. In the end they found they got on well but in reality probably got married too soon.
"But JB has said he’ll always be there to support her when she needs him and he’s a very honourable guy.”
Cheryl has not commented on these claims but posted a gorgeous selfie on Instagram the minute that the news broke last night.
