The Cheryl Hines-RFK Jr. Nuptials Were Pretty Much What You'd Expect

There were a lot of ways to distill the cultural significance of the Cheryl Hines-Robert Kennedy, Jr. nuptials. The Hollywood Reporter may have put it best though:

It was the little things, though, that made the affair, which was hosted at the Kennedy Compound in Hyannis Port, so delectably American — in both glamor and oddity. From Entertainment Tonight's account:

She wore a strapless Romona Keveza Collection wedding dress, while guests dined on lobster, clams, steak and chicken. The couple -- who met through Larry David -- went on a sail this afternoon, a Kennedy wedding tradition. Kennedy's four sons were the groomsmen, while the bridesmaids were his two daughters as well as Cheryl's daughter, Catherine Rose Young. Natasha Bedingfield performed two songs at the reception, which was held under a tent on Teddy Kennedy Jr.'s lawn.

Maria Shriver, Patrick Kennedy, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Ed Bagley Jr., Kevin Nealon, and Massachusetts Senator Ed Markey were reportedly all in attendance.

There was also some misreporting about the guest list. The Telegraph made this not-so-little gaffe:

The toasts were led by RFK Jr's uncle Ted Kennedy, youngest brother of his late father, who told him: "Bobby, you are the most adventuresome, the most loving, the most inclusive person in our family." 

True love notwithstanding, the most important of all was that Hines' Curb Your Enthusiasm co-star Larry David proved that life imitates art:
