Chicago Med Scoop: Alias Alum Cast as S. Epatha Merkerson’s Hubby
Alias vet Carl Lumbly is in need of one of Chicago Med‘s finest.
The actor will recur on NBC’s latest Chicago Fire spinoff as the husband of S. Epatha Merkerson’s character Sharon, TVLine has learned.
Sharon is the head of Gaffney Chicago Medical Center, where much of the show’s action takes place.

Lumbly’s Bert is a once virile, robust man whose sudden physical ailment factors into his relationship with his wife and the hospital where she works.
Lumbly most recently recurred on CBS’ Zoo and A&E’s The Returned.
Chicago Med premieres Nov. 17 at 9/8c.
