Chicago police searching for hit-and-run driver from Chatham

CHICAGO — Chicago police are searching for the hit-and-run driver who injured a pedestrian early Wednesday morning in Chatham.

Around 1:10 a.m., the driver of a dark-colored car left the 8000 block of South Cottage Grove Avenue after hitting the pedestrian, according to Chicago police.

The victim, who hasn’t been identified, was hospitalized due to their injuries. Police haven’t released their condition.

Anyone with any information regarding the crash, including about the driver or the vehicle involved, should call the Major Accident Investigation Unit at 312-745-4521.
