The masterminds behind the one-woman show " Dickens' Women " are Miriam Margolyes and Sonia Fraser. Known as Professor Sprout in the "Harry Potter" movies, Margolyes puts on a brilliant performance depicting 23 of Charles Dickens' characters. Fraser is credited with directing.

Burn some calories this weekend before indulging in your Christmas dinner, and learn some facts about your city while you're running. The Chicago Tragic Events 5K will teach you some surprising facts about four of Chicago's most tragic events. Register online before it closes early Saturday morning at 3 a.m. The running tour will meet at Cloud Gate.

Chicago's own Flosstradamus is a two-man show comprised of DJs J2K and Autobot. They specialize in trap music and have performed at some great venues like Coachella. Both of their shows are sold out at Metro , but you can still snatch a ticket at StubHub. Doors open an hour before the show.

If you thought Pauly D was just a reality act on "Jersey Shore," you are in for a surprise. Whether you love him or hate him, DJ Pauly D is talented. See for yourself, Chicagoans, and you may even make it onto his upcoming reality show about his celebrity life as a DJ. 50 Cent even vouched for the DJ's skills by signing him, and in 2010, he was named the eighth best DJ in the world.
