Chris Hemsworth Paid Off All of His Parents’ Debts, Brother Liam Reveals
Apparently, Chris Hemsworth is a bit of a hero off-screen as well as on-screen. At least where his parents are concerned.
In a recent interview with the Independent, “The Hunger Games” star Liam Hemsworth revealed that his “Thor” star sibling had paid off their parents’ debts.
In the interview, Liam divulged that, one day, Chris called his father, instructing him to check his bank account balance.

“He [his father] called my brother Chris back and said, ‘I don’t know how to feel. Since I left home I have had debts and I thought I’d be paying them off until I died and have this weight hanging over me, and now to have them completely cleared,'” Liam noted.
The actor added that the act of generosity has left his parents “so happy” and freed them up to see their sons more often.
“They are so happy now and able to spend more time with us,” Hemsworth said. “I would love to be able to do something for my parents like that.”
