    Chris Christie was a constant presence on the NY and NJ stations this weekend giving constant updates on the progress of Irene and then once it hit how the various towns of NJ were dealing with its effects.

    Christie showed real leadership and great crisis communications skills by constantly informing the public and then repeatedly telling everyone when the next updates and press conferences would be.

      Chris Christie has a great don't-mess-with-me personna and no doubt a future in moderating a too far right listing Republican Party. But unless he embarks on some serious health sustaining measures to correct his unfortunate morbidly obese present status (maybe even bariatric surgery might be helpful) it's doubtful he'll have the longevity or the electability to get to the White House. Let's hope for the better.
