Federal Reserve chair Janet Yellen starts her semi-annual testimony in Congress on Wednesday.
At 8:30 a.m. ET, the Fed will release the prepared remarks she will deliver before the House Committee on Financial Services today.
Yellen will sum up her assessment of the economy since the last time she appeared before Congress.
Around 10 a.m. ET, she will give the testimony and take questions from members of Congress.
She'll be back on Capitol Hill Thursday to appear before the Senate Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs and deliver the same remarks before another round of questions.
Markets will be looking out for clues on the timing of the Fed's interest rate hikes. While the Fed expects four hikes this year, the volatility in markets has given some market participants reason to doubt that the Fed can still follow this trajectory.
We'll have live coverage of the testimony and her comments, so refresh this page for updates.
