    Configure One to Showcase Unique Integration to SolidWorks at SolidWorks World 2012 User Conference and Exposition

    Configure One will demonstrate Configure One’s Concept Enterprise Product Configurator® together with the Concept Add-In for SolidWorks at its booth (512) in the Partner Pavilion. This integration includes a Concept embedded window directly inside SolidWorks allowing configurator administrative users to easily define and maintain SolidWorks-related configurator rules. Unique to the configurator industry, this Add-In communicates bi-directionally with the Concept server component to allow users to define rules that manipulate SolidWorks assemblies, parts, and drawings. With Configure One’s Concept Enterprise Product Configurator® and SolidWorks Configurator, companies can efficiently sell and process orders for configurable, multi-option, and customizable products.

    The Concept Add-In for SolidWorks has been enthusiastically received by Configure One customers, and has helped reduce the implementation lead times where Concept is integrated to SolidWorks. One such customer is Armstrong International, a world leader in intelligent system solutions for steam, air, and hot water utility applications. “All of our products are configurable to some degree with thousands of possible configuration options,” said Peter Dewitt, product engineer. “With Configure One’s Concept Add-In for SolidWorks, Armstrong International can create individual drawings for each configuration automatically. Before Concept, manually creating an individual drawing and getting it approved could take up to a week. Today, sales and production drawings are available immediately through CAD automation.”
