Construction Watch: 505 West 19th Street Tops Out, Starts Getting Glassy

Curbed New York

Thomas Juul-Hansen's High-Line hugging condo building(s) at 505 West 19th Street hit a few milestones this week. Both of the 10-story buildings—they're connected by a lobby beneath the High Line—topped out, and the first windows were installed. They grow up so fast, don't they? The marketing team also sent over a couple new interior renderings, showing the High Line-facing A-line apartments in the East Building. The East Building has 25 relatively normal-sized units, plus two full-floor penthouses, while the West Building will have just eight giant homes (six full-floor units, one duplex townhouse, and one duplex penthouse). Sales launched in March, and StreetEasy shows that 13 units are in contract. There are four live listings, including a 2,933-square-foot 3BR asking $6.9 million. Those sprawling penthouses have yet to be listed, but a tipster sent us the pricing information and floorplans, which you can ogle right over here.
