Copper thieves snag $10,000 worth of material from P.A. work site

Police in Prince Albert are looking for a suspect or suspects accused of stealing copper wire from a construction site.

The investigation was launched Friday morning when a break-in from the night before was noticed and reported to police.

The site is located in the West Hill area of Prince Albert.

The value of the stolen wire was estimated to be more than $10,000.

Police are asking anyone with information about the case to contact them at 306-953-4222 or through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
