Coroner: Female found dead in Danville hot tub
May 19—DANVILLE — A female was found dead in a hot tub on West Mahoning Street on Tuesday evening, Montour County Coroner Scott Lynn reported.
He did not have a cause of death but said an autopsy will be scheduled. The body was discovered at about 7:30 p.m., he said.
"Preliminary investigation supports death occurred sometime Saturday night," Lynn wrote in a text message.
He did not say if foul play was suspected but said officials were not releasing any more information pending locating family.
