Cricket: White Ferns adamant they can fight back

The White Ferns are desperate to prove to New Zealand Cricket they're worthy of investing in, after poor one day series in the West Indies.

After losing the ODI series 4-0, New Zealand now play the Windies in three Twenty20 internationals in St Vincent.

Captain Suzie Bates says they need to show they can fight back.

"I know with this group we are moving forward. It's just a shame we've come over and performed so badly to start it off, but there has been heaps of positives and we have got a lot of new faces around so it can only get better in my opinion."

The first T20 is Wednesday morning.
