Coroner identifies woman killed in head-on crash near Aynor

HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) — The Horry County Coroner’s Office has identified a 30-year-old woman who died in a head-on crash Thursday evening near Aynor.

Reanna Todd died at Conway Medical Center ER shortly before 10 p.m., the coroner’s office said. The crash happened in the 1000 block of Ridge Road.

The crash happened shortly before 9 p.m. at the intersection with Turner Road when a 2008 GMC van traveling east and an 1995 Oldsmobile going west collided at the intersection, Trooper Brittany Glover said. The driver of the van, who was alone in the vehicle, and three people in the Oldsmobile were taken to the hospital.

Todd was in the Oldsmobile. The crash remains under investigation.

Horry County Fire Rescue was dispatched at 8:54 p.m. The Aynor Police Department also responded to the scene.
