    Custom Albums, Lay-Flat Pages Part of Creative Memories’ New Fall Offering

    Creative Memories continues to lead the scrapbooking industry with the September launch of lay-flat photo book pages and custom album covers for scrapbooks, followed by the October release to Consultants of the new Cricut Expression® 2 machine, which comes with exclusive cartridges not available in the retail version

    Creative Memories continues to be a leader in the scrapbooking industry with the release of some exciting new products this fall. On Sept. 1, Creative Memories will introduce lay-flat pages for scrapbooks and You Create It Custom Albums, where customers have the ability to personalize the cover of their favorite scrapbook-style album. And starting Oct. 1, Creative Memories Consultants will be able to sell the new Cricut Expression® 2 machine, which comes with exclusive cartridges customers won’t be able to get anywhere else.

    You Create It Custom Albums allow customers to use their favorite photos and designs to make their album cover stand out. Users will have the option to use a photo to fill the entire album cover, insert a photo into a predesigned template, or design a cover that’s all their own.

    “We’re so excited to offer You Create It Custom Albums to our Consultants and customers as a way to make their scrapbook albums truly unique,” says Lisa Nicholson, Albums Category Manager at Creative Memories. “And since custom albums offer the same high-quality material and construction as our other scrapbook albums, the memories are sure to last for generations to come.”

    As a leader in the photo book niche, Creative Memories’ new optional upgrade for lay-flat pages is available for all photo books starting Sept. 1. This special hinged binding allows the pages of photo books to lie flat, in a similar way that traditional Creative Memories scrapbook albums do, providing easy viewing with no page curl.

    Starting Oct. 1, Creative Memories Consultants will be able to sell the new Cricut Expression® 2 machine, which comes with a free Creative Memories exclusive sampler cartridge. Consultants will also be able to sell additional Creative Memories Cricut® cartridges that will not be available in the retail version. Locate a Consultant near you to be among the first to place your Cricut Expression® 2 order.

    The new machine is packed with fun new features, such as a full-color LCD touch-screen display; independent image sizing; a light underneath the cutting area that shows where a user is cutting on the mat; and a pause feature, where users can pause in the middle of a cut and then resume where they left off. The new machine is also compatible with all Cricut cartridges, and it comes with two full, preloaded cartridges and printed handbooks.
