Daniel Radcliffe on what makes a MTV Movie Award Best Kiss
With the MTV Awards fast approaching, it's time for our favourite award to be dished out: Best Kiss.
And so when we had some exclusive interview time with Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe - whose co-stars are up for the award - we simply HAD to ask him about movie snogs and what makes them worthy of a gong.
Speaking exclusively to Yahoo omg! about what makes an on-screen kiss good Daniel Radcliffe said: "God knows. I don't know [blushes].
"You just kiss like a normal person and enjoy it! You just have to enjoy it and really be into it with the person you're with.
"I've never had to kiss anyone that I didn't really like. I don't know how I'd feel about that.
"But yeah I think as long as you're enjoying it that will show. You gotta have fun, you can't be all nervous and twitchy about it."
This year there are LOADS of juicy kisses up for Best Kiss Award at the MTV Movies Awards in the US.
Best movie snog is between Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart in 'Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part 1', Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling in 'Crazy, Stupid, Love', Emma Watson and Rupert Grint in 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2', Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson in 'The Hunger Games' and Rachel McAdams and Channing Tatum in 'The Vow'.
We ACTUALLY kind decide between them. Sighs.
Meanwhile Daniel Radcliffe himself is up for Best Male for his role in Potter - but he doesn't rate his chances again the rather smouldering Ryan Gosling.
Speaking exclusively to Yahoo! omg Daniel Radcliffe said: "I'd be more than happy to lose to Ryan Gosling in that category.
"I don't pay a huge amount of attention to the awards thing. In America people are much more open about their desire to win awards. I don't have that. I never know quite what to make of it."
And asked about the chances of Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows Part 2 winning Best Movie when coming up against the likes of Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part 1 and The Hunger Games, he simply said: "The wonderful thing about Harry Potter is that on the whole fans of this franchise are encouraged to explore and be open to lots of things.
"It's not about you can only like one thing. Just stop fighting. Any inter-franchise war is about people trying to get their identity through a franchise. it shouldn't be about being insular with what you love."
Daniel Radcliffe's first film since Harry Potter, 'The Woman In Black' is all set to come out on DVD later this month.
So we asked Dan who he reckoned he'd like to watch the spooky horror with. He said: "Joe Pasquale. That voice and the scared noises he would make would be incredibly funny."
Asked who he'd like to hide behind or hug he told us: "Katy Perry. I do love you. I've got a bit of a crush on her."
The Woman In Black is out on DVD/Blu-Ray on June 18
Don't watch it alone...the home premiere of the film is on June 21 (the longest day of the year, therefore the safest to watch the horror!)
