Inspired by the need to visualize larger datasets and design graphics that transcend the limitations of static dashboard tools, OpenViz 3.0 (http://www.openviz.com) will continue the twenty year AVS legacy of innovation in the data visualization sector.

    A selection of the many new OpenViz capabilities include techniques for creating innovative chart legends and labels; adding stencil images and textures to charts; faster graphics rendering; integrating mouse wheel interaction with exploration of large datasets; full support of right-to-left character sets and charts; native support for the Android mobile platform with full interactivity; multipoint gestures for Java and Microsoft touchscreen solutions; and continued improvement of in-memory performance of big data applications.
