David Beckham Tries To Be A 'Cool Dad' With Brooklyn

First of all, did you see the amazing seats that David Beckham managed to nab for himself and his sixteen-year-old son Brooklyn at Sunday night’s Super Bowl?

And secondly, you are aware that David Beckham is arguably one of the coolest people on the planet, right?

Which is why we couldn’t help but chuckle when the former footballing legend shared a snapshot of himself and his teen son in similar outfits and questioned whether or not he qualified as a “cool dad”.

David, you could wear crocs with socks and still be a cool dad for Pete’s sake.

Taking to his Instagram account, the underwear model shared the photo of himself and Brooklyn in the rainy streets wearing matching camo jackets and beanie hats, the star wrote alongside the image: “Not sure if I’m a cool dad or Brooklyn is thinking seriously we have similar coats on dad.”

Brooklyn is yet to comment.

However, David has previously revealed that his eldest son is sometimes embarrassed to be seen with him and even insists that he drops him off around the corner from his school rather than at the gates.

Speaking in an old interview, David explained: “I wasn’t happy about it because I’d got up at seven in the morning to take him to school so I dropped him round the corner, and as he was walking into school I opened the window and shouted ‘I love you!’ to him.

"It didn’t go down too well but it made him smile a couple of days later.”

Yikes, well, to be fair, Brooklyn does already suffer his fair share of public humiliation via his famous mum and dad’s various social media accounts…

Either way, we know that we certainly wouldn’t complain about being a member of the Beckham family.
