GENEVA, SWITZERLAND--(Marketwired - Aug 5, 2014) - In August, a number of major agricultural trade shows are scheduled in various cities all over the United States, where industry leaders will be presenting their latest products. Vegalab, an internationally acclaimed formulator and manufacturer of environmentally responsible and sustainable agricultural products, announced their participation in three fares: the Nursery/Landscape Expo in San Antonio from August 14 to 15, the Citrus Expo in Fort Myers from August 15 to 17, and the Farm Chemical International (FCI) Trade Summit in Las Vegas from August 26 to 28.

David Selakovic, President of Vegalab S.A., is planning on showcasing the company's all-natural line of sustainable products, such as its branded line of commercial agricultural products and the SUPREME GROWERS® Home Gardening Kits for hobby gardeners. Vegalab's portfolio of commercial products includes highly effective products for large agriculture, nurseries, turf and landscape such as fertilizers and pesticides. Supreme Grower's gardening kits on the other hand are individually packaged pods that contain highly concentrated fertilizers in powder form that can be dissolved in water, which then can be easily applied to plants. Depending on the type of project, customers can choose between the All Purpose Kit for fruits, vegetables and flowers, and the Herb & Leafy Greens Kit.

Trade shows do not offer a chance to introduce new products. David Selakovic hopes to use them as a platform to create awareness for the importance of responsible agriculture, sustainability and the impact that today's actions can have on the world of tomorrow as well as to learn about the latest trends and issues in the agricultural world. With its innovative and sustainable products Vegalab is spearheading a trend that is spreading around the world, including Japan, where some major electronics firms, namely Fujitsu, Hitachi, Panasonic and Sharp, are turning disused factory space into high-tech greenhouses to offer affordable vegetables that are currently an expensive good in Japan.

And while countries like Japan are only using innovative technologies to improve their living standards, the future of some developing countries depends on innovations in the agricultural sector as Bill Gates pointed out in an open letter to The Economist: "[...] But it will take a lot more funding, creativity and persistence from agricultural scientists, governments, companies and philanthropies, across a diversity of crops, to keep ahead of climate change. Ultimately, farmers living in the toughest environments deserve the best science the world has to offer, so they too can reap the rewards."

Together with his team of experienced scientists at Vegalab laboratories in Geneva, Switzerland, David Selakovic is tirelessly working on coming up with new solutions to achieve exactly that. The company has built an outstanding international reputation for its all-natural, sustainable products, which is in large part a result of Selakovic's innovative spirit and smart entrepreneurship. Aside from his managing position, Selakovic is a highly sought-after business advisor who assists companies in creating efficient teams and developing sound business plans to help them on their way to long-lasting success. In addition, along with his wife Leah Selakovic, he is supporting a number of charities and non-profit organizations that reflect their personal values.
