    Daytona Beach Hospital Imaging Center Now Offers Services Ranging from Digital Mammograms to Nuclear Medicine

    The Imaging Center at Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center Offers New Technology in Addition to the Wide Range of Services Available to Local Residents.

    Florida Hospital Imaging Center (http://www.floridahospitalimaging.org) now offers the newest technology in nuclear medicine, Sodium Fluoride (NaF) PET/CT Bone Imaging. This service is in addition to the wide range of imaging services already offered at Florida Hospital Imaging Center including, X-Ray, Bone Density studies, CT, Ultrasound, MRI, Digital Mammography and Breast Biopsies.

    Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center’s Imaging Center, located at 335 Clyde Morris Blvd Suite 250 in Ormond Beach, offers an array of advanced imaging technology. Our CT scanner has 3D reconstruction software and biopsy capabilities. Our Ultrasound technology offers vascular imaging and biopsies. Our Digital Mammography imaging system can perform Stereotactic breast biopsies and Needle Localizations. The hospital’s NaF PET/CT scanner offers better test results for patients with suspected metastatic bone disease- detects better, earlier for better outcomes and is easier on patients - patients can get injected, leave the imaging center for 2 hours and come back for the exam.
