Deion Sanders live-tweets domestic dispute, his wife goes to jail

If there is a silver lining to airing your dirty laundry to nearly half a million Twitter followers, it has to be when your estranged wife ends up in jail for assaulting you.

That’s just what happened Monday night when former Dallas Cowboy and NFL Hall of Famer Deion Sanders live-tweeted a domestic dispute between he and his soon-to-be ex-wife, Pilar.

Sanders tweeted, “Pray for me and my kids now! They just witnessed their mother and a friend jump me in my room. She’s going to jail n I’m pressing charges!”

In another tweet — that has since been deleted — he wrote, “I’m sad my boys witnessed this mess but I warned the police department here that she was gone try n harm me and my boys. This is on my mama!”

Sanders also posted a family photo that shows him and his sons filling out a police report. He wrote, “filling out police reports now! Thank God for this platform to issue the Truth.”

Pilar Sanders was charged with assault-family violence, a Class C misdemeanor, and taken to a Colin County jail.

The football legend has had a rough couple of months. He filed for divorce from his wife last December, but the two are still living under the same gigantic roof of their Prospect, Texas mansion.

Pilar is reportedly suing Deion for a whopping $200 million.
