    Delta Air Lines touts fall fare sale

    ATLANTA (AP) — Delta announced a fare sale on hundreds of fall flights for travelers who are willing to stay overnight on a Saturday.

    Seats will be available until Aug. 9 although they are limited — Delta isn't saying how many — and can be used on travel through Nov. 14.

    The lowest prices don't apply to Sunday flights and are only available on Delta's website — calling the airline on the phone will add $25 each way and using an airport ticket counter will add $35 each way.

    Delta listed round-trip sale fares such as $158 between Atlanta and Memphis, Tenn.; $178 between New York's LaGuardia Airport and Charlotte, N.C.; and $198 between Atlanta and Fort Lauderdale, Fla.

    Shares of Delta Air Lines Inc. fell 2 percent, or 21 cents, to $9.26.
