    Denver Personal Injury Attorney to Hold Seminar for Colorado Chiropractors Regarding Injury Law Issues facing Medical Professionals

    Denver personal injury attorney Melissa J. Winthers – a partner at the firm Fleishman and Shapiro PC – will be holding a seminar and advising session for the Colorado Chiropractors Association on Thursday, February 23. The presentation will deal with Colorado injury law issues important to chiropractors and other medical professionals, such as correctly documenting injuries and treatments and the proper standards for record-keeping.

    Denver personal injury attorney Melissa J. Winthers– a partner at the firm Fleishman and Shapiro PC – will be holding a seminar and advising session for the Colorado Chiropractors Association (CCA) on Thursday, February 23. The presentation will deal Colorado Injury Law issues important to chiropractors and other medical professionals, such as correctly documenting injuries and treatments and the proper standards for record-keeping.

    The meeting, which will also serve as the CCA's monthly meeting, will begin at 6 PM and will be held at the offices of Denver Injury Attorneys, Fleishman and Shapiro, P.C. located at 2000 S Colorado Boulevard, Denver, CO, 80222. A reception and networking event, from 6:00 to 7:00, will precede the presentation, which will begin at 7:30 and will include a question-and-answer session.

    Winthers notes that the seminar, which is free for Colorado Chiropractors Association members, will address Colorado personal injury law topics that are becoming increasingly important, including keeping the right documentation. Some chiropractors fail to properly document injuries sustained by patients, which can ultimately become important in Colorado personal injury claims such as automobile and motorcycle accidents and slip and fall situations.

    Although other Colorado lawyer personal injury topics will be covered as well, Winthers points out that this can be an area of trouble and concern for chiropractors and other medical professionals throughout the state. "Following auto accidents and other tragedies, patients can be faced with life-altering conditions. Chiropractors and medical professionals play a big role in personal injury claims in Colorado, and it's important that they know their responsibilities."

    While the event is open to CCA members throughout the state, limited seating is available, so attendees are advised to arrive early. Further information about the session can be obtained by calling Fleishman and Shapiro at 303.861.1000.
