    Diamond Bar High School’s Wheel Food Fest Will Bring Top Gourmet Trucks to the First of Its Kind Event

    The gourmet food trucks confirmed for Diamond Bar High School’s 4 WHEEL FOOD FEST next Saturday, February 11, 2012, are southern California’s most requested and favorite, all participating in the fundraising event for Diamond Bar High School. The 4 WHEEL FOOD FEST will take place from 11a.m. to 3p.m. in the front parking lot at Diamond Bar High School located at 21400 E. Pathfinder Road in Diamond Bar.

    The list of confirmed trucks are a foodie fan’s dream including Don Chow’s Tacos from the Food Network’s “Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives,” the NomNom Truck, featured on the “the Great Food Truck Race,” Sweet E’s Bake Shop, participants of TLC’s “Cupcake Wars” and fans of the Glee cast, Vanessa Huggins and a celebrity favorite, Jogasaki Sushi Burrito Truck, featured on Food Truck Talk and LA Weekly Blogs and ethnic specialty trucks such as Bool Korean BBQ, Slummin’ Gourmet, and Slammin’ Sliders all of whom will donate a portion of sales from the event.

    “For foodie fans or those just anxious to see what the excitement is about, this WHEEL FOOD Fest for Diamond Bar High School is an ideal event,” said organizer, Angela Turner. “Many people want to try these popular trucks without the hassle of larger events and this will bring that opportunity in a fundraiser for an exceptional local high school.”

    The planned 4 WHEEL FOOD FEST will benefit Diamond Bar High School parent organizations, the Magnificent 7, representing the diverse community of students at the high school: Brahma Boosters, Brahma Foundation, Council of African American Parents (CAAP), Chinese American Parent Association (CAPA), Korean American Parent Association (KAPA), Hispanic Organization of Parents and Education (HOPE), and South Asian Parent Association (SAPA).

    “We have this amazing group that represents our school’s various communities,” said Catherine Real, principal of Diamond Bar High School. “We have been anxious to bring a food truck event to our school and are excited about this delicious fundraising event.”

    The admission donation for the Diamond Bar High School 4 WHEEL FOOD FEST on Saturday, February 12th is $2.00 for adults, $1.00 for students, and children under 5 years old are admitted free.
