    DINGIT Releases Smartphone App Solution for Auto Body Shops to Increase Customer Retention

    In response to demand from body shops, DINGIT has developed a service package that includes developing a branded iPhone and Android application to auto body shops that they can use to retain their customers and attract new ones.

    Today, more than ever, customer retention is a challenge for auto body shops. As the economy weakens people are much more conscious about their expenses thus when looking to repair auto body damage car owners tend to shop around and obtain several estimates. A recent survey by DingIT showed that on average a person attempts to obtain 2.5 estimates.

    For body shops this means high risk of losing existing customers.

    Addressing this concern, DingIT is introducing a brand new product for auto body shops. Leveraging its smartphone application infrastructure which allows car owners who have damage in their cars to submit photos of the damage to nearby auto body shops that are in the DingIT network and to receive preliminary estimates straight to their smartphones, DingIT is now offering auto body shops the option to have their own branded smartphone application where leads are sent only to their shop(s).

    The auto body shops can provide this application to their customers for free. The next time the customer needs auto body work, she uses the application to submit photos of the damage and this application ensures that this particular auto body is the first one to know his customer needs service, and the only one to provide an estimate.

    Such a product not only helps auto body shops retain their customer, but helps attract new customers as well by providing a hassle-free application to obtain estimates. But moreover, it projects to the customers the body shop’s commitment to a high quality service and technology to serve them better.

    At a starting price of less than a cup of coffee per day, DingIT offers an end-to-end solution from the development of a branded smartphone app (which by it self is valued at thousands of dollars), through the deployment of the app to the iTune and Android markets, proving a marketing kit to help the body shop distribute the application, and facilitating all the leads and subsequent communication with the customers utilizing DingIT’s servers.
