Directory List & Print Pro review
Directory List & Print Pro provides a text-based list of all your computer files. Choose the folders, drives, or directories that you want indexed and receive a complete listing of their contents.
Pros
Good selection criteria: Under the selection pane, you can choose what type of file information you want in your final list. The many options include file size, creation date, and more. This is very helpful if you're targeting specific information.
Lists ready to copy: The directory lists are displayed in plain text in the bottom window of the application, so you can easily Select All and copy the list contents to your clipboard.
Cons
Very confusing interface: If you're new to this type of program, there is little to tell you how to go about using it.
No sharing features: We were able to Send to Word or Excel, but we'd also appreciate the ability to automatically upload the data to Dropbox or to share it some other way with team members.
Bottom Line
Directory List & Print Pro allows you to create a comprehensive and accurate list of your directories. It provides good customization so that you can retrieve the exact data that you're looking for. However, you have limited options for what you can do with that data once you have it.
