Dizzee Rascal, Mark Ronson, Katy B to perform Olympic Torch Relay concert in London

Announced Tuesday, a series of Olympic Torch Relay Concerts will take place in the UK, as buildup for the Olympic Games and featuring top British acts Dizzee Rascal, The Wanted, Mark Ronson, Katy B, Eliza Doolittle, and a slew of other artists.

The concert, sponsored by Coca-Cola, is set to take place in various cities along the Torch Relay route, culminating in an 80,000-capacity concert in London's Hyde Park on July 26, the day before the Opening Ceremony.

The main event in Hyde Park will feature headliner Dizzee Rascal, along with The Wanted, Mark Ronson and Katy B, Eliza Doolittle, You Me At Six, Rizzle Kicks, Wretch 32, Morning Parade, Loick Essien, and Little Comets.

On May 25 at Cardiff's Cooper's Field, a Special City Celebration concert will feature You Me At Six, Emeli Sandé, and Kids In Glass Houses. On June 8, Eliza Doolittle, Emeli Sandé, and General Fiasco will play Glasgow's George Square. The bill for Leeds's Temple Newsam Park on June 24 features Friendly Fires, Tribes, and Little Comets. Another concert is slated for Birmingham's Cannon Hill Park on June 30, but details on the lineup are forthcoming.

The events are all part of more than two months of celebrations taking place along the Olympic Torch Relay route, dubbed 61 Evening Celebrations, with each night featuring musical performances by some of the nation's brightest acts. The celebrations begin on May 19 at Land's End and end on July 27 at the opening ceremony in the Olympic Stadium. Further details will be released in the coming weeks.
