If Donald Trump Is Elected President, Jon Stewart Will Be on the First Spaceship to Mars
Even though Jon Stewart is off the air, he's not without words for Donald Trump, presidential hopeful and sentient hairpiece display bust.
We're right there with you, ol' Jon. If late-night television's modern cool Dad is powerfully against Trump, then that just gives the rest of us one more reason to fight the good fight against the crazies. According to People, Stewart is getting on the first trip to the moon if Trump gets into the White House. "I would consider getting in a rocket and going to another planet," he said, "because clearly this planet's gone bonkers."
In lighter, more sane news, Stewart also told the press that he doesn't miss doing TV. "If I would have known what life was like on the other side, I probably would have left sooner. It's fucking fun out there," he said. "You can do whatever you want during the day. You can get a smoothie at 2."
Trevor Noah takes over his spot on September 28th. Although Trump's run would obviously make for great TV, Jon Stewart isn't going back anytime soon. Just one more thing that Donald Trump did wrong.
