    Double Honours for Davy Liver in Prestigious National Business Awards

    Cabfind Ltd, part of the local family business Davy Liver Transport Group are celebrating after being shortlisted in two categories for this year’s National Business Awards - hailed as the UK business industry’s premier recognition platform for excellence.

    Nominated in The Santander Small to Medium Sized Business of the Year and The Orange Innovation Award category, the transport management service have received the accolade for leading the way in transformational service provision and delivery. Winners will be announced at a star studded ceremony in London on 8th November 2011.

    The news comes as Davy Liver Taxis, by linking into Cabfind’s internet portal (cabfindtransfers.com) mark a major travel industry milestone this month by becoming the North West’s first taxi company to offer holiday and business airport transfers to 45 different countries worldwide including Spain, Greece, Cyprus, Portugal, Turkey and Egypt through their Davy Liver (davyliver.co.uk) and Wirral Satellite Car (wirralsatellitecars.co.uk) websites.

    Available to book online, the new international offering has been created in direct response to the needs of today’s consumers and the emerging trend for direct flight bookings, transfers and accommodation with more budget conscious Brits shunning traditional package holidays and putting together travel plans using the internet.

    Christopher believes that the service will build on the reputation of the firm as the most innovative taxi operator in the UK. “This is a major high point for us and an exciting and timely transformation for the Davy Liver and Wirral Satellite brand. We already take people, going on holiday or business to either Liverpool or Manchester Airport and now we can arrange their foreign transfers by taxi, mini bus or coach too. Independent trips are becoming the holiday of choice for many British consumers, offering them greater choice and value for money, yet until now there has been no local taxi operator offering this excellent facility.”

    With the holiday season approaching its sweltering peak, the new service has seen extra investment by local parent company CabFind International to deliver great services for passengers from home, to the airport and all the way through to their holiday destination. To further demonstrate this commitment, the business has recruited a new team of staff to manage the service in Liverpool and Wirral.
