Dr. Dre, Apple Working on Original TV Show ‘Vital Signs’

Apple is hoping that Dr. Dre can provide an inroad into the world of television.

The rapper/mogul, who’s already aligned with Apple following the company’s 2014 purchase of Beats Electronics, is working on a new TV show for Apple, the New York Times reports.

The six-episode drama series, which has the title “Vital Signs,” would be offered through the company’s, streaming service Apple TV, via Apple Music.

It isn’t yet known when the show will be available, though it could turn out to be the company’s first big dive into television.

In addition to his music ventures, Dr. Dre — born Andre Young — produced last year’s N.W.A biopic “Straight Outta Compton.”
