Drake Named Spotify's Most Streamed Artist of 2015
Today, Spotify named Drake their most streamed artist of 2015. It shouldn't come as a surprise as the 6 God released not one, but TWO projects on the streaming service this year with If You're Reading This It's Too Late and his Future collaboration, What A Time To Be Alive. The two mixtapes helped Drake earn Spotify's top spot with over 1.8 billion streams and 46 million listeners to beat out last year's most streamed artist, Ed Sheeran. Of course, both Adele and Taylor Swift famously removed their latest albums—or in Swift's case, all of her albums—off the streaming service, but that's their loss. Drake proves once again he is for the internet and the internet is obviously grateful. What a time.
