Flexible architecture and speed of integration cited as critical success factors.

Deployed as a compact (1u) server or software-only capability, Ageon ISR supports multi-INT processing, exploitation, and dissemination. The first 20 systems were fielded as the Common Operating Picture (COP) and toolset for a series of next generation ground control stations supporting advanced platform and sensor payloads. Warfighters operating from these shelters use Ageon ISR to fuse high definition video, wide area imagery, radar, unattended ground sensor, acoustic and HUMINT data to support force protection and intelligence operations. The full COP and the intelligence products created using it are fed in real-time to personnel in the tactical operations center (TOC) who use a shared view and collaboration workspace.
Positive feedback from program leadership and the warfighter led to the extended deployment of Ageon ISR. For program management, enhanced capabilities and speed were key differentiators. DRG’s ability to seamlessly integrate a wide range of multi-INT sensors within a two-week integration period was a testament to Ageon ISR’s flexible architecture and the team’s engineering experience. The warfighter lauded its intuitive set of tools to support visualization and exploitation as well as its performance and reliability characteristics.
“We’re thankful for the positive reception and the program’s decision to expand our involvement – it’s very gratifying to know that we’re making a real difference in helping to protect our armed forces overseas,” said Stephen St. Mary, Executive Vice President of DRG.
DRG continues to push Ageon ISR utility to the warfighter through a dedicated program of product innovation. 3-D visualization and enhanced work-flow for intelligence product creation, indexing, and retrieval will be rolled out in the coming months. Integration with a cross-domain solution and the DCGS enterprise architecture are also under development.
Headquartered in Boston, MA, DRG is a leader in the development of innovative technologies that support critical defense, intelligence, and security missions.
