Will Drinking Raw Milk Make You a Better Person? ‘Portlandia’ Thinks So

Forget the small things, like your general health or the debilitating effects of chronic disease. Do you pronounce words clearly, with crisp, defined syllables? Is your laugh bell clear? How much time do you waste in a day with superfluous blinks and yawns?

The future is the answer to your ailments, and the future, according to Portlandia’s Michelle and Brendan, is raw milk.

The pair, played by Carrie Brownstein and Fred Armisen, discover that the unpasteurized milk from their backyard cow cures all that ails. Brendan’s bones move more fluidly; Michelle says she “took an online class and read Ulysses this morning.”

Clearly, the solution to the world’s problems, in public health and in culture alike, hinges on getting this miracle liquid to the masses. But the FDA and the medical establishment are suppressing the gospel of raw milk—a conspiracy they revealed in the lobby of a local doctor’s office.
