Drug Dealer Who Berated Judge On Facebook After Avoiding Jail Gets Called Back To Court

A drug dealer who told a judge to go “suck his ****” after escaping jail has been ordered back to court, and now faces resentencing.

Daniel Sledden, 27, was given a suspended sentence by Judge Beverley Lunt at Burnley Crown Court after pleading guilty to selling cannabis.

But moments after the decision, he launched a bizarre attack on her in a Facebook post.

“Cannot believe my luck 2 year suspended sentence beats the 3 year jail yes pal! Beverly Lunt go suck my ****,” he wrote.

His brother, Samuel, who had also pleaded guilty to dealing drugs, replied to the post to say they “wouldn’t get the chance again.”

They have now both been ordered back to the court.

Shortly after, Daniel Sledden took to Facebook to issue and apology.

“I want to say how sorry I am for what I wrote about Judge Lunt and my sentence,” he wrote.

“I was very lucky not to be sent to prison and I was very stupid to have written what I did. I want to say sorry to Judge Lunt and to anyone else who was upset or offended by my thoughtless post which I did not mean.”

But one of his friends quipped: “Can’t help but feel this status has been forced haha”

Daniel, Samuel and their father William had admitted supplying cannabis over a five-month period in 2014.

During the original sentencing Judge Lunt told the brothers: “You two are drug dealers. You were drug dealers in 2012 and in 2014. You’re both old enough to know better.

“Your father should’ve stopped you but you’re both men and should’ve behaved like men and not be dealing drugs.”
