Duchess Of Cambridge Sports The Chignon Of Your Dreams

The Duchess of Cambridge is almost as well known for her chic chignon’s as she is her perfect blow dries. And yesterday, Sunday 10 January, she sported possibly her best updo yet.

The Duchess, and her winning hairdo, joined the Duke of Cambridge to support the Queen in marking the 100th anniversary of the end first World War’s Gallipoli campaign. The royals gathered at St. Mary Magdalene Church in Norfolk, on the Sandringham estate, to pay their respects.

Considering it was a blustery day and not one of Kate’s brunette locks was out of place, we have to applaud the Duchess’ hair spray. [Photo: Rex]

For the occasion, Kate donned the same tweed Michael Kors suit that she wore to church over the Christmas period. She also recycled her favourite Aquatalia suede knee high boots and the same fascinator that she wore in December.

But it’s her hairdo that we reckon deserves a round of applause. The Duchess, who celebrated her 34th birthday on Saturday, turned heads with her first updo since chopping her locks last month. She also pinned back her sweeping side fringe, which she had cut in last September.

Take one look at the Middleton family, who joined the Duke and Duchess for the somber occasion, and it’s easy to see where the mum-of-two gets her effortless style from.

Just back from an exotic escape, Pippa and James Middleton cut two stylish figures. James was sporting his beard and a dapper suit while Pippa looked every inch the royal relation in an oh-so-glam and oversized fur hat, coat dress and suede high heeled boots. Carole Middleton looked equally chic in a big hat and fur-trimmed jacket.

A smart bunch, aren’t they? [Photo: Rex]
