The Duggars Expecting 20th Child

Nuts nuts nuts.They have enough children.What are the children going to do when she dies during your birth????

So her 19th baby was born at 25 weeks and she miscarried her 20th baby. I think her body is telling her its time to count her 19 blessings and leave it at that!

Frist and For most they are killing how can you be emotionaly and phisicaly andmoney fit for 20 children. You Need like bigger then a House to fit 20 of them things it's krazzzy

I have mixed feelings, too. It's starting to get creepy. But.....who is to judge?

I have two sides to this. One side of me is very thankful that she is a wonderful Mother and tries her very best to be the best Mother she can unlike some of the young mom's out there that just hand their child over to their own mothers or just don't care at all and would rather party then raise a child (then close your legs if that's the case). But then another part of me thinks in a way this is selfish, basically not fair to the children she has now. They need attention and not from their older siblings from their Mother and Father all the time. I don't know I guess i'm just thankful I'm not one of her children.

This disgusts me. SI would not be surprised if this baby doesn't make it. A woman's body is not meant to pop out 20 children

I wish the Duggars could have 200 kids. I would rather see the earth populated with loving kindhearted people like the Duggars instead of the selfish hateful kind who post a lot of these comments.

When your children start having children I think it is time to stop having them yourself!

If the family would like to keep the "and counting" thing going, and if they have enough room and resources, (guess they do with a TV show,) then why not try to adopt some children who are already on this planet? We have many special needs children who need love and siblings; why try to "grow" your own? Does this sound mean- spirited? Hope not! I decided not to have a child at 45 - (after I met the "right one") because I visited a genetics/fertility clinic and found my odds of having a downs syndrome child was approximately one in 12.
If one becomes preggers at 45 +, you may have to accept that God is blessing you, and I would hope/pray for the absolute BEST- but to TRY to have another baby - and one has to wonder if it's BECAUSE of the TV show, this appears to be a mockery of our very reason for being.

It is totally selfish to have children that will not be reared in a normal home. How does one care for these many children emotionally?

Hurry up and go through menopause already Michelle!

Their last child was born early with complications... its time to STOP having babies, when you can no longer carry them to full term. SELFISH!!!

Wouldn't they run out of J names? What J names are left for them to use?

When your older children start raising your younger children then it's time to stop having kids. So sad...the older kids (the girls that is) seem to have no life outside of running the household.

Just because you CAN breed, doesn't mean you should. Children in industrialized countries use up a vast amount of resources and create a huge impact on the environment. Overpopulation is, literally, a gigantic problem. If they have a desire for a large family, why not adopt and care for kids who are already here? It just seems kind of selfish to me.

I find it very sad that these people are still breeding and on television. First of all to answer one of the posters. THEY ARE NOT SUPPORTING THESE CHILDREN BY TEMSELVES! They are starring in a TV show. Also, she is not raising these children- her older girls are. She is NOT a mother - she is a breeder - real mothers with that amount of children do not have the luxury to work out on ellipticals, take naps and have their food made for them and brought to them. The kids might be happy, but its not because they have a real relationship with their mother. The small onces do not even know what it means to really be with a mother that has time for them. This woman gets back to breeding almost immediately after she pops another child out. She has a psychological condition... she can only be happy when she is pregnant and birthing. And their excuse that they do not believe in birthcontrol is total nonsense. Abstinence for the sake of their other children is an option that these breeders just cannot fathom. And they have taught their kids well. These kids will be in the business of breeding as well. They do not care about anything but themselves.. and I would call that kind of behavior self centered, selfish and sort of sick.

Ridiculous, I think she should get a new hairdo instead.

As one of 7 siblings and in a deeply religious family, this is my view:
There is Intimacy Jealousy toward each new addition to a family.
Childlren need attention. When good behavior no longer works they will turn to bad behavior.
Tweenies need to be monitored closely until the hormonal imbalances level out.
The odds are good that at least 1 out of 20 children will feel resentment.

‎7 billion!!!!.......and counting.........Stop breeding
