Dump truck crashes through Maple Valley eye care office
A dump truck slammed into a building in Maple Valley Friday morning, leaving an eye care center in disarray.
Crews from Puget Sound Fire first tweeted about the crash into the building on Maple Valley Black Diamond Road Southeast, near Southeast 264th Street, shortly after 9 a.m.
Photos from the scene showed that much of the truck ended up inside the Maple Valley Eye Care Center.
No one inside the building was hurt and the driver is also OK.
The building has significant structural damage, so emergency shoring was put in place by Puget Sound Fire’s Heavy Rescue Team.
