Dump truck rollover crash closes Route 9 in Berlin after fuel spill

Route 9 North in Berlin was closed for several hours on Wednesday after a dump truck rolled over, spilling fuel onto the highway, according to the Connecticut State Police.

State police responded to Exit 24 on Route 9 in Berlin for the reported crash on Wednesday afternoon. Minor injuries were reported, according to state police.

The right lane of the highway was expected to be closed for several hours, state police said.

The Department of Energy and Environmental Protection responded to the scene for the fuel spill, state police said.
