E! Renews Vows with Kardashian Clan

The Kardashian programming juggernaut on E! will continue for at least another three years under the terms of a wide-ranging renewal of the talent deal between the NBCUniversal cabler and the tabloid-bait family.

The New York Post reported Thursday that the family has inked a four-year deal valued at $100 million. E! did its best to downplay that lofty figure.

“The story that ran this morning is grossly inaccurate, and we’re not commenting further,” a rep said. A source close to the situation insisted the deal is for three years, not four (although there may be an option year in play).

Deal comes together as the flagship “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” series prepares for the premiere of its 10th season on March 15. The family’s deal with the cabler was set to expire after the end of the 10th season.

Various family members have appeared in four (and counting) spinoff series since “Keeping Up” bowed in 2007. Khloe Kardashian is also a frequent red-carpet host and awards-show commentator for the cabler, among other special programming.

The renewal deal does not include Bruce Jenner, the former husband of matriarch Kris Kardashian, according to The Post’s report, who is in the midst of filming his own E! series documenting his transgender journey. It’s unclear if Jenner will be featured in season 10 of “Keeping Up.”
