    Lesson Nine introduces False Cognates -- treacherous foreign words that that can be misleading because they look like English words but have different meanings.

    Lesson Ten reveals Foreign Words Beginners Know How to Pronounce from English.

    Sound similarities are far fewer than spelling similarities to English. So this last lesson will take beginners a step farther from the likenesses between the languages toward the differences. It will prepare them for the logical next steps of learning -- listening to and then speaking a foreign language.
