    Edge Studio Earns GSA Certificate for Voice Over Recording Services

    The US government has awarded Edge Studio with a GSA Certificate to sell its voice over recording services directly to the federal government.

    The US government has awarded Edge Studio with a GSA Certificate to sell its voice over recording services directly to the federal government.

    A GSA certificate is a license that allows private companies to pursue and secure federal contracts. Private companies awarded these certificates must meet rigorous quality and value standards. “The standards are quite high,” states David Goldberg, Edge Studio director and owner. “Companies must show proof of experience, a sound financial history, strong business practices, and a fair pricing policy.” In essence, the GSA certificate is a testament to its holder’s quality of product or service—as well as its competitive value.

    Companies that meet the rigorous standards of GSA certification are few. “There are over 26 million small businesses in the country,” says Goldberg. “Of those, only 18,000 have GSA schedules. Those that hold a GSA schedule are in the top .07% of all businesses nationwide.”

    Edge Studio can now directly record training videos, tutorials, webinars, presentations and podcasts and more for any department of the US government. Previously, government voice over recordings for the US Navy, US Army, and the Department of Defense among others was through third party vendors.

    “The GSA requires that we be fully transparent with the government in terms of pricing and lead time,” says David Goldberg. “This is a standard we hold ourselves to on every project, whether we’re working with private or government clients. We strive to define time and cost commitments up front—as far as the size or complexity of a project allows.”
