If you're a military spouse out there, you know how hard it can be to find a job, especially when you are constantly moving. And recently the "Military Spouse Employment Partnership" program was launched to help spouses do what at some times can seem like the impossible, to find jobs.
But even with this new added resource for spouses to try and focus their job sights on, it still has been a frustrating process for many. Many spouses, just like those in the civilian workforce are trying to find new ways to make themselves marketable to employers and this new program that is offered through the "Military Spouse Employment Partnership" and H & R Block can do just that, as well as many other programs can do just that.
H & R Block is offering full scholarships to all military spouses in order to attend their "Income Tax Course." The course will help military spouses to become proficient in tax preparation and may even lead to a job with H & R Block as well. No matter what the outcome of your time in this tax course, it will lead to more skills that you can put on your resume, which may finally lead to you finding that dream job that you all have been looking for.
But if becoming a tax preparer still doesn't get you anywhere closer to your career path, then I strongly suggest that all eligible military spouses out there sign up for the MYCAA program, or the "Military Spouse Career Advancement Accounts."
This program will give every eligible military spouse $4,000 to use to obtain an Associate's Degree, credentials, and licensure programs. While it may not provide any funding for bachelor's or master's degree training, it does offer some programs that will give you more options when it comes to a career.
Both of these options are great for any military spouses that are having a hard time finding a job. Instead of just constantly applying and being rejected, you can try and make yourself more marketable to employers so that next time you are looking for a job, it's a lot easier.
