Eglin Air Force Base notifies residents of upcoming night flying operations

EGLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. (WKRG) — Eglin Air Force Base will soon conduct night flying operations, according to a press release.

“Residents may experience aircraft noise on May 13 – 16, when the 58th Fighter Squadron conducts night flying operations in the area,” the release said.

The release noted that the missions will occur between 8 and 10 p.m. since night flying is required for the 58th Fighter Squadron training operations.
