    Element Mobile Sponsors Free Ski Day at Nordic Mountain

    Wireless carrier Element Mobile will offer free skiing vouchers this month at Nordic Mountain in Mount Morris, Wisconsin.

    For the second year Element Mobile will offer Free Ski Day at Nordic Mountain, taking place this month on Jan. 16, 2012.

    About 2,000 ticket vouchers will be available to the public at all Element Mobile locations starting January 11, 2012. They are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

    Jackie Shea, community and public relations at Element Mobile, said the company’s relationship with Nordic Mountain has been incredibly positive, and supports Element’s vision to promote the active and lifestyle-focused pursuits of Central Wisconsin residents.

    “Part of doing good business is being involved in the communities where our customers live and with the activities our customers enjoy,” said Shea. “Positive partnerships such as the one between Element Mobile and Nordic Mountain help provide enhanced programs and activities to these communities. We are thrilled to continue our relationship with Nordic Mountain and support events such as Free Ski Day.”

    Element Mobile vouchers must be presented at Nordic Mountain on Jan. 16 for a free lift ticket. Equipment rental is not included. For questions regarding this offer, please visit your local Element Mobile store.

    In addition to Free Ski Day, Element Mobile assists with bringing several other events to the hill, including:


    • Burton Learn to Ride Center, sponsored by Element Mobile - Nordic Mountain is the only Learn to Ride Center in Wisconsin, featuring Burton’s modern equipment and teaching techniques.

    • Element Mobile Stairs – Element built this exciting addition to Nordic Mountain in 2011. Light-up stairs and three different rails provide a fun challenge for boarders and skiers.

    • Rail Jam Competition on Element Mobile Stairs – This trick and jump competition draws people from all over the Midwest. This year’s Rail Jam is Jan. 28, 2012 from 6-9 p.m. with cash prizes available.

    • Element Mobile Learning Area – This area is perfect for beginners and first-timers. Nordic recently added another handle-tow and quadrupled the size of the beginner area.
