Ella Chen happy to star in a Lunar New Year film
21 Jan – S.H.E. member Ella Chen is truly delighted to be given the opportunity to work in a Hong Kong Lunar New Year movie.
As reported on Hk Top Ten News, the Taiwanese singer, who stars in the upcoming Eric Tsang film "Lucky Star 2015", stated that she was especially excited about wearing costumes related to Stephen Chow's various movie characters.
"I have loved Stephen Chow's movies since I was little. Every one of them is beyond funny and extremely entertaining, especially the Lunar New Year films like "All's Well, Ends Well"," the singer enthused.
Admitting she had never imagined being able to participate in a Hong Kong Lunar New Year film, Ella expressed, "It is truly rare and I am very honoured."
Asked if she is not afraid that the funny scenes will ruin her image, Ella said that she has never thought about her image in the first place.
"I hope everyone would like my performance," said the singer.
"Lucky Star 2015", co-starring Wong Cho Lam, Dada Chan, and Wen Chao, will be released in cinemas beginning 5 March.
